- Have effective communication and collaboration skills.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll:

- Act as facilitator to the team, scheduling and supporting stand-ups, iteration reviews and planning activities.

- Follow a mix of Scrum, XP and Kanban with a selection of lean practices (such as A3s etc.)

- Adapt and improve these processes to serve the team, project and company as best fits.

Essential/Desired Skills and Experience:

- Strong coaching and mentoring skills and an interest in helping people develop their skills

- Project planning and reporting

- Project scope control and backlog management

- Risk management

- Resolving technical debt or working with legacy codebases

- Product development, release and maintenance experience

- Experience of continuous delivery or a frequent release cadence

- Experience with managing various key people (stakeholders) around the business

- Significant industry experience in a leadership role on a variety of software projects.

- Prior experience working on agile projects/strong demonstrable understanding of Agile Project Management.

- Run at least 3 projects as an agile Project Manager/Scrum Master, preferably with a small co-located team.

- Knowledge of bug tracking systems, release management and ideally source control and CI servers.

- Relevant professional qualifications and/or Higher education (university degree 2:2 or better) would be beneficial but not essential.

Benefits:

- A great benefits package.

- A commitment to your continuous learning and development.

- Salary is negotiable, depending on experience (please tell us your current salary in your covering letter).
