// The Digital Account Director / Manager position:

Working closely with the MD and digital production team, you’ll be responsible for managing new and existing customer accounts and will be confident utilising the full range of the agency's capabilities to ensure our clients' business objectives are continually met. You will develop mutually beneficial relationships with clients, identifying opportunities and developing project plans/specifications with solid, demonstrable return on investment, as well as overseeing successful delivery.

In addition to helping existing clients achieve exceptional results and measurable outcomes from working with the agency, you will develop and continually review relevant tools, documentation and business processes to ensure consistency and quality of service.

You will be passionate and knowledgeable within digital, with a key focus on software / digital product development, website development and digital marketing techniques. You will also follow and have a keen interest in tech hardware and connected devices, from Raspberry Pi and Kinect to Drones and Oculus Rift, and how these may be cleverly used to our client’s advantage.

// Digital Account Director / Manager Responsibilities:

> Building and maintaining excellent client relationships with the ability to spot opportunities within existing clients, developing and executing new business initiatives on the back of this

> Disciplined and efficient qualification of all opportunities, ensuring time is spent wisely

> Helping clients to identify measurable business objectives and scope of value before developing any proposals

> Developing robust and detailed project scopes, requirements, specifications and proposals for often complex digital project opportunities

> Accurate and timely financial management of projects

> Agreeing mutually-beneficial value-linked pricing (and not cost-linked)

> Inputting into account plans and client strategy development to better serve the client

> Briefing and managing creative and development teams

> Attending client meetings with a head for ideas and commercial communication skills

> Seeking opportunities and generating ideas for clients and advising them accordingly

// Digital Account Director / Manager Skills required:

> Digital agency experience (preferably B2B) although others will be considered if relevant experience can be demonstrated (Essential)

> Able to demonstrate having worked on ‘open’ client briefs - expanded and reshaped for exceptional client service

> Track record working as an AD or senior level SAM/JAD

> Experience working with CEOs/MD senior level decision makers

> Knowledge of digital product development (web/mobile apps) and digital marketing projects (SEO/CRO/etc), including website development

> Strategic thinker, able to understand the commercial context of a client’s business and develop a strategy in response to this - a ‘why’ mindset focused on measuring and delivering specific outcomes

> Significant understanding/experience of the digital development process and the ability to communicate strategy, creative and technical elements of a project to non-technical stakeholders

> Well versed in Google Analytics and a good understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation techniques

> Ideally have a business (not developer) understanding of, and experience in using web Content Management Systems, email marketing software, marketing automation and integrating web applications with client systems e.g. CRMs or accounting systems.

> Experience with Agile methodology will be a significant advantage

> Project Management skills will be advantageous, though not the key focus of the role
