Information Management (Digital Architect) - Government - London - 6 months+ SC clearance
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a digital information management (architect) to manage and lead a team and organisational capability responsible for providing Information and Records Management direction, support and governance in support of the organisations strategic objectives and provide support to the Information Management Change Programme with responsibilities for aspects of Information Management Policy & Strategy and/or Information Architecture (digital and paper).
Key skills/Experience
*Awareness of CPIA/RIPA/DPA.
*Recognised project management qualification ie Prince 2 or experience.
*Professional Qualification in Information or Records Management.
*Membership of a professional Information and/or Records Management Association/body.
*Professional qualification in change management
*Proven experience of supervising/managing a team.
*Experienced in effective decision making.
*Experience of analysing data, information and statistics from a wide range of sources.
*Experience of planning/project work and working to tight deadlines.
*A good understanding of Information Management.
*A good understanding of legislation affecting Agency activity.
*Practical understanding of IM Legislation eg Data Protection, CPIA, FOI, Environmental Information Regulations, RIPA/Investigatory Powers Tribunal and ECHR.
*Knowledge of the principles behind effective and legally compliant information management and strategy.
