Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Greenwich

The Company:

A main contractor that specialises in design and build projects offering turnkey solutions is looking for a freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They began as a refurbishment specialist but has since developed their company to be able to take a project from inception through to completion. Their residential arm deals mainly in the super high end residential sector with projects typically in the region of £1m - £5m. Due to their unique position they are able to reduce the cost to their clients through the use of in house processing and manufacturing capabilities while still maintaining the high quality they have become known for.

The Opportunity:

The company are looking for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their team to help with an abundance of new work wins. You will be the Principal Quantity Surveyor, reporting into the managing director with the autonomy to run your projects mainly but not solely in the post contract stage. Therefore experience in the full project life cycle is important. Focusing on their high end residential side you will be surveying projects that include new build, refurbishments and fit outs as well as working with groundworks and basements as and when it is required.

The Key Requirements:

* Experienced with a proven ability to run projects without the need for guidance or training

* Immediate start is required, the sooner the better

* Experience working with new builds, refurbishments and fit outs of high end residential properties

* Experience of a minimum of 5-6 years as Quantity Surveyor

* Previously worked in a similar role for a main contractor

The Money:

* £250 - £300 per day (Experience Dependant)
