Who we are and what we do

Accenture is global network of 323,000 employees who operate in 200 cities in 56 countries. Our four business areas - Accenture Strategy, Accenture Digital, Accenture Technology and Accenture Operations are bringing world-class skills, consulting capabilities and integrated solutions to clients that really work.

While our main goal is to make the world’s biggest organisations fitter, faster and more efficient, we also pride ourselves on being an excellent employer. At Accenture you’ll have every opportunity to evolve your career and help us evolve too. You’ll be surrounded by people who are enthusiastic about what they do - and eager to share their passion and knowledge with you.

Right now, we’re looking for graduates to join us in helping our clients work smarter, better, more profitably and more productively. Your career is important to us and whatever your skills, we’ll help you find the right opportunity for you.

Our Client Delivery Graduate Programme

As an Associate on our Client Delivery Graduate Programme, you’ll join us as part of Accenture Technology. This is one of the fastest growing parts of Accenture and this programme has been designed to nurture our next generation of project managers and technical specialists.

With clients in education to entertainment, healthcare to communications, Accenture works alongside big-name companies to help them make the most of the latest technologies. Drawing on our deep technical expertise, we deliver end-to-end solutions that work in the real world. We do this by collaborating closely between our clients and our global teams of technical specialists to coordinate a solution that meets our client's needs and ultimately drives results.

As an Associate you will work within a client delivery team to design, develop, test and deliver strategic solutions. You will be right at the centre of the delivery team, gaining practical, hands on experience of working across the full project lifecycle, and the satisfaction of seeing ideas become a reality.

We need people who can combine the potential to deliver technology solutions with outstanding project management skills. You might not initially join us with a technical skillset but by the end of the programme we’ll teach you the skills you need to deliver technology solutions that are impacting clients across the world, in all industries.

How you’ll evolve

In our business, there’s no substitute for learning by doing. With this in mind, you’ll get to grips with a wide variety of tasks and projects. We’ll provide you with the support, training and tools you need to design, build, test and support high-quality solutions as part of a global network of IT specialists and experts. You’ll take on challenging project work - designing, building and supporting technical solutions for clients. You could be developing a mobile app for a client to serve its customers anywhere. Analysing a client’s current technologies, before developing, managing and delivering a new, integrated solution. Or you could be designing and testing new business processes and capabilities.

The Client Delivery training programme lasts up to four weeks and will give you an in-depth insight into testing and project management. After that, it’s on to your first assignment, where you’ll start to build your skills both on the job and through formal training. Our industry-leading training and certification programme will hone your skills across the full range of technologies such as Java, Oracle, iOS, Salesforce and SAP among others.

What we’re looking for

You can join our Client Delivery Graduate Programme with a university degree in any academic discipline. There is no UCAS requirement.

We’re open to all kinds of personalities who have a strong interest in technology and want to work with it day in, day out. We need people who can combine the potential to deliver technology solutions with outstanding project management skills. You might not initially join us with a technical skillset but by the end of the programme we’ll teach you the skills you need to deliver technology solutions that are impacting clients across the world, in all industries.

You’ll also need to be fully mobile as client projects could take you anywhere in the country - or even the world - though you will be aligned to a base at one of our main office locations in either Edinburgh, London, Manchester or Newcastle.
