Making the move to Phoenix offers you the exciting prospect of applying your project support and analytical expertise in a unique setting, with the UK’s largest Closed Life and Pension Fund Consolidator and one of ‘Britain’s Top Employers 2014’. We have a progressive project team structure, offering development support and the opportunity to work on a range of projects and programmes such as business transformation, industry change and IT.

As a Project Analyst, you’ll be part of the programme office team, working on one of our largest change initiatives. This will involve assisting in a range of programme planning and reporting activities, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within set quality parameters and to agreed budgets. You will manage project dependencies, risks and issues as well as maintaining a robust governance and control framework, along with the production of control documentation. This includes, tracking project status and providing regular reports and planning MI.

We’re looking for talented Project Analysts on a 6 months fixed term contract basis, ideally with some relevant exposure to the life insurance industry, who can demonstrate:

- Sound knowledge of project management and associated methodologies, in relation to planning, monitoring and controlling projects throughout their lifecycle.

- Direct experience of working on and supporting complex programmes, coupled with a good understanding of project tracking, reporting and subsequent delivery.

- Strong technical and analytical ability, plus a good degree of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use/application of MS Project, Word and Excel.

- Excellent communication skills, along with the necessary confidence to build senior level relationships and help drive forward a major change programme.

- Knowledge of the financial services sector or life & pensions would be highly desirable.

In return, you can look forward to excellent rewards, great conditions and the chance to make your mark in a fast developing team.

We have been Britain's Top Employer for the last 4 consecutive years and are a member of the FTSE 250 index. We value our employees highly and are always looking for new professionals to join our talented team. Our funds are closed, enabling us to focus on areas that other businesses can't. This means that, among the many benefits of working at Phoenix (such as our breathtaking Wythall location and excellent rewards scheme), our staff can enjoy exposure to a diverse workload not found elsewhere. We're proud of what we do, and we've recently gained recognition for our distinctive business model. We offer excellent training opportunities, career development and company culture.
