Site Facilities Engineer - £30,000 to £35,000 p/a + Benefits - Wiltshire - Med Dev - Permanent

A Site Facilities Engineer is now required to join a leading SME Medical Device company in Wiltshire to providing Electrical/Mechanical support to all manufacturing areas.

This is a great opportunity for someone with the below skills and experience to become one of key team members and develop new skills within the Medical Device industry.

Responsibilities

* Maintain production machinery

* Decommissioning and installing machinery

Source replacement parts, setup new approved suppliers and raise purchase orders.

* Respond quickly to machine breakdowns

* Able to speak to suppliers when fault finding complex machine issues

* Drilling and tapping holes to suit new web paths and roller locations on machines

Planned Maintenance systems

* Able to fault find electrical issues on machinery

* Able to replace electrical components and wire them in safely and legally

* Able to remove and replace machine components (clutches, gears, bearings)

* Fault finding machine noises/ vibrations

* Record all details of worked carried out to remedy machine faults

Experience and qualifications required:

* Formal / recognised training in Mechanical/Electrical principles.

* Safety training / awareness

* Must be proficient in MS Word so that training documents or work instructions can be generated

* Experience within automated manufacturing environment

* Electrical / electronic fault finding/repair

* Mechanical fault finding/repair

* Clean-room / GMP

* Experience in pneumatics systems, Hydraulic systems and robotics.

* Must be familiar with manufacturing processes and ideally rotary machines
