Central England Co-operative is one of the largest and most successful independent co-operatives in the UK, with gross sales in excess of £1bn and over 8,800 colleagues operating across 16 counties, from the heart of England to its eastern shores. Our colleagues are the key to our success, which is why we want the very best people as part of our team.

Based at our Business Support Centre, you will make a big impact on the future success of our Society by shaping our processes and driving continuous improvement. As Process & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will influence and work with senior colleagues to deliver positive change across all areas of our business.

Taking the lead with business process architecture, modelling and continuous improvement, you will develop our approaches and methodologies in line with our strategic goals and business capabilities. Making sure process analysis and continuous improvement are firmly embedded into our culture, your role will involve defining, reviewing and documenting all end-to-end processes.

This exciting challenge offers plenty of variety. You will work with our Corporate and IS teams to implement system enhancements that improve business efficiencies. You will manage continuous improvement projects, our process dictionary and approach to knowledge management. You will also develop scenarios to support change and facilitate workshops to help colleagues with new ways of working. Sharing our passion for innovation, traceability and continuous improvement, you must have wide-ranging experience of using a variety of process modelling tools and techniques, including SIPOC, BPMN and Visio.

An excellent communicator who can work collaboratively with senior colleagues and clearly explain issues from a technical and business perspective, you should have a good understanding of Lean methodology and project delivery within transformation and change frameworks. Up-to-date with the latest process architecture developments, you will also need to be skilled at capturing relationships between roles, capabilities and organisational design.

As a Central England Co-operative colleague you will enjoy a wide range of benefits, including Society Membership, colleague discount on purchases, pension and health scheme.

At Central England Co-operative Society we are all individual, like you. We value your individuality and welcome applications from all members of society regardless of personal characteristics.
