This is an exciting opportunity to assume a key role in a cutting-edge organisation that will sit at the forefront of change across the humanitarian landscape. As our creative, tech savvy Digital Project Manager you will expertly progress the development and implementation of the Humanitarian Leadership Academy's digital presence.

The mission of the HLA is to empower people around the world to prepare for and respond to crises in their own countries. The Academy will work with the humanitarian sector and new partners from the technology industry, private sector and universities to help communities become more resilient in the face of disaster and give them the training and skills to respond to crises in their own countries.

In this pivotal position your core purpose will be to increase the HLA's reach and access through innovative and user-oriented digital platforms and solutions. You will be a crucial contributor to the Academy's digital strategy, gathering information, completing scoping work, generating ingenious solutions and building and managing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the successful implementation of specific digital projects.

- Providing central co-ordination of digital projects in the areas of Learning, Marketing and Communications, Knowledge and Evidence, and Academy Centres.

- Leading on the tendering and negotiating of agreements with suppliers, agencies and partners.

- Maintaining a resourcing plan and arranging the procurement of resources in a timely manner.

- Establishing and enacting a risk management plan.

To succeed in the role of Digital Project Manager you'll need:

- Substantial project management experience, involving the development and implementation of digital functions on a comparable scale.

- Significant experience of commercial off-the-shelf business application services and products, and expert knowledge of software development lifecycles.

- A background solving complex digital function issues.

- The ability to develop successful relationships with corporate partners.

- Robust understanding of information security principles.
