We are looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL and Oracle Database Administrator to help maintain and enhance existing business applications and to manage the introduction of new systems.
Your main responsibilities will involve project management, SQL database administration, Oracle database administration and supplier management.
Your role will involve providing an efficient and effective service to all areas of the Authority. Experience in database administration and best practice is essential and you will know how to communicate with customers and to monitor and solve customer problems in a timely manner. You’ll need to be able to investigate database, application and hardware issues, be able to diagnose the underlying problem, and deliver the best solution.
You should have a good working knowledge of project management, business applications and ITIL processes.
