Our vision is to make Lloyds Banking Group the best bank for customers. As the UK's largest retail and commercial bank, we have a footprint that touches nearly every community and household in the UK. That gives us a big responsibility to support the UK economy, and to put customers at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this, we also need to be the best bank for our colleagues and our communities - and we have a clear strategy in place to make this a reality. We are building on our many strengths: iconic brands, strong heritages and great people. To unlock the great potential in our business, we are becoming more efficient, more transparent, and more responsive to customers. Already the UK's largest community investor, we are giving even more back. Above all, we are putting customers first.

We currently have a role as part of our large team who maintain the Unix Estate from a Hardware and Software perspective. This is an opportunity to join a wider team involved in the maintenance, support and development of our Unix Estate in a key role within Provisioning. As well as being an accomplished technical expert you will have experience in Provisioning either day-to-day or as part of wider projects. Ultimately, you will be comfortable working with vendors, signing off new equipment after negotiating the best price. Happy to challenge vendors, you will ensure the Group sources equipment fit for purpose and at the right price.

Once the correct equipment is ordered you will effectively liaise with Data Centre, Networking and Storage Teams to ensure maximum availability of services as well as timely installation and configuration. Naturally, you will have experience of Change Management Processes and Controls, automation tools and process management.

- SAN Storage (IBM/ Hitachi)

- Nexus Network Infrastructure

- IBM/ HDS San Arrays

- PSeries Hardware(Vios Commissioning)

- Lpar migrations (LPM)

- Asset Management (Software, Hardware and Licences)

Overall, your emphasis and passion for driving customer service and technical ability to solve problems will be key to your success. There will be a strong expectation and reliance on your robust services. In return, we offer the benefits you would expect from a leading bank.
