CTO (Chief Technical Officer) - £65,000 to £85,000 p/a +Benefits - Start up Med Dev - Bristol - Permanent

A small Med Dev company is moving in to the phase of Product Development and commercialisation. Due to this they are looking for a CTO to manage the product manufacture and launch on a technical and strategic level.

This role will be ideal for a very experienced hand's on Project Manager or manager who drives off exceeding high expectations/ targets and who has the determination to unite a team into successful delivery of the products.

Role:

* Manage a team of 5-10 people

* Use of requirement specifications, validation, regulatory requirements, etc.

* Working on Algorithm solutions and data input

* Signal processing

* Imaging creations and systems

* Ability to bring structure and clarity to the development process in this respect

* Capable of being the technical voice of the company with investors, medical companies, partners/suppliers, regulatory bodies, etc

* Working on potential technology developments and how to phase these into a product development roadmap

* Working on Innovative technology

Experience required:

* Experience in Product Development

* Proven experience of delivering 'a Product' to the medical marketplace

* Understand/have experience of working with manufacturing/suppliers to deliver a high quality product.

* Experience in Radio Frequency (distinct advantage)

* Problem solving methodologies and optimise performance

* Strong leadership and ability to pull teams together to deliver Projects on time and in budget

* Experience of taking a product through the Clinical Trials process.
