Web Developer / UI Programmer (Web UI Splunk CSS AngularJS Big Data JavaScript). Highly successful software house is seeking a skilled Web Developer to design and develop the front end for their flagship product, a real-time big data system. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, you will innovate and develop new products.

As a Web Developer you will work closely with the Head of UI to deliver attractive and engaging user interfaces, working within the Splunk platform. You will work throughout the full development lifecycle, from gathering customer requirements, designing and developing and testing the code, to deploying and supporting the customer. Based in Central London, you’ll be working with an intellectual team of software engineers, mathematicians and data scientists in a collaborative Agile development environment.

Requirements:

           Strong JavaScript skills

           Understanding of web application frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery, Underscore.js, RequireJS, Bootstrap)

           User interface design and development, good understanding of UX/UI design principles

           Experience developing single-page web applications and REST APIs

           Degree educated in Computer Science or related subject

           Interest in Mathematics and / or data intensive systems

           Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
