About us

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is at the very heart of UK Financial Services regulation. We are striving to make financial markets provide a fair deal for consumers and investors. Our digital presence is integral to the running of our organisation. Now we need a dynamic, web savvy individual to lead the implementation of a new website. This new, high profile role is your chance to make your mark.

About the role

You’ll use your expertise in website content, usability, architecture, development and design to pull all aspects of this project together and steer the direction of the new site. Working closely with content editors, technology teams, suppliers and other stakeholders, you’ll advise on how the site should look, feel and operate. We’ll look to you to lead a project team, keeping it on track to very tight timescales as you deliver milestones in an agile way.

About the individual

You’ll come to us with a proven track record of managing a large website with a diverse user population. Able to manage multiple projects and maintain schedules and budgets, you’ll be skilled in delivering website development projects, ideally using agile project management methodology. Above all, you’ll be a strong communicator with a flair for translating technical jargon into plain language and building effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
