Job Role: Developer / Consultant (Java J2EE C++ C# .Net RDBMS)
Location: London (National travel)
Salary: 40k to 60k + bonus + benefits
Developer / Consultant with strong software development skills in Java, J2EE, C++, C# .Net and / or RDBMS sought to design, develop and deliver major IT change programmes and mission critical information intelligence systems to public sector clients (national security, government) for one of the UK's leading IT consultancies.
As Developer / Consultant, you will utilise your broad technical knowledge (Java, J2EE, C#, .Net, RDBMS) to design and develop effective high performance, scalable software architectures using elements of service orientation, web services, data integration services, component, messaging and connector architectures. You will work across the full development lifecycle including analysis, bid preparation, development and implementation.
The ideal candidate will have skills in one or more of the following: Java, J2EE, C++, C# .Net, RDBMS; have strong client facing skills / consultancy experience, experience integrating technology with 3rd party systems and be bright (achieved 2:1 or above from top tier university) with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. You must have UK security clearance or the ability to gain it (must have been UK resident for 3 of the last 5 years) and be fully flexible on consultancy travel.
