Rugby Borough Council’s Housing Repairs service is undergoing a significant transformation and so too are its ICT requirements. As part of a large scale project to bring in new technologies and ways of working the council is seeking a talented and self-motivated ICT professional to help drive and deliver the project.

Working closely with both the Project Manager and the Councils ICT service this will be a varied technical role involving everything from data processing to systems management and implementation. Experience of Housing Repairs systems and mobile working technologies would be a distinct advantage however what is more important is that you are a committed and adaptable individual with experience of managing and developing ICT systems generally. As this is a project based role your technical experience must be backed up with good communication and time management skills.

This will initially be a six month contract to deliver the project, with some scope for extension. In addition the ICT service will be reviewing the ongoing support and management of the Housing system as a whole and there is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
