Java / J2EE E-Commerce Developer London Alternative Investment Manager
My client is a leading London Alternative Investment Manager currently looking for a talented Analyst Developer for a Greenfield project to build new eCommerce Websites and Systems.
You must be an experienced Java, J2EE and Oracle developer as this is a business focussed role and will require confident communication skills as well as proven experience in object-oriented development within a test driven development and Agile (preferable Scrum) environment.
Key responsibilities:
•System analysis and design
•Gather systems requirements from business end users and document requirements
•Draw up data models, class diagrams and object interaction diagrams in design documents and on whiteboards
•Communicate systems requirements to other developers and users.
Key requirements
This role will suit a degree educated software developer who possesses a good mix of technical, business and communication skills. Relevant commercial and technical experience; strong analysis and interpretation skills; a thorough understanding and proven experience of e-Commerce and business systems and an understanding of the financial markets are essential. Proven ability in the following competencies / skills is essential:
Technical Skills
Strong, well rounded web based development skills including:
•Java and J2EE
•SQL and Oracle PL/ SQL
•HTML and JavaScript
•Eclipse
•JUnit and Test Driven Development
•Hibernate or (preferably) JPA and Spring
