Application Developer Liverpool
My client is a financial services organisation who are seeking an Applications Developer to work on the conversion of their existing system to the .net platform. This project is expected to take in excess of 6 months. When complete the developer will work on the ongoing development and maintenance of the system. This is a prime opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to move into the financial services sector.
The key responsibilities for this role will consist of:
Being part of a small team who provide bespoke in-house software application. Writing and maintaining software applications to meet technical specifications and programming standards. Documenting programs, code and scripts so that records are accurate and up to date for future application development and maintenance. Ensuring that programs are thoroughly tested and will function as part of the overall system. Contributing programming expertise and/ or implementation support for projects. Investigating programming problems/ bugs, working with users as appropriate, to identify causes and recommend corrective action.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in VB.NET, 2 years experience in C# development, SQL including T-SQL.
