Product Specialist required to work for financial services software house.You will have experience in the architecture and implementation of large-scale products based around Middleware and Workflow STP processing. You will have commercial exposure to financial messaging using SWIFT, Fix or Fpml as well as a working awareness of Settlements, Transactions and Derivatives. Technical experience working with J2EE, Unix, RDBMS, Websphere, Weblogic, Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server would be advantageous but not an absolute necessity.
The role will be based in the London office and would require occasional travel to the regional office in the South West. You will be working on the analysis of complex business issues and subsequent architecture and implementation of solutions on customer site. You will deliver business requirements into process driven environments. You will be working in a customer facing capacity as a Product Manager and will have a demonstrable skill within product development using J2EE, C/ C++, Unix and RDBMS. The essential skills for the role will be within financial services and having settlements, financial messaging and derivatives experience.
You will be a client facing individual with a proactive approach to pressurised situations. The role will require you to take ownership for particular products within the software house's range of STP products. The role can be based in London or the South West. The South West role would be commutable from Bristol, Cardiff, Reading and surrounding areas. Apply now for immediate consideration.
