Senior Web Developer / Development Team Leader - .Net, C#
Guildford, Surrey
£35,000 - £45,000 DOE Plus Annual Profit-Related Bonus

As a leading Software-as-a-Service company, our client provides a managed, outsourced service, which provides unprecedented levels of visibility into the behaviour, health and performance of Data Networks. The service is sold through partners to over 2,500 end-user companies across the world, some of which are in the FTSE 100. An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Web Developer / Development Team Leader to join their team.

This is the ideal position for a talented candidate with both development and management skills to play a hands-on role. If you enjoy working in a small team and you’re looking for a role where you can make a real difference to a service that’s used by thousands – read on.

Joining an eleven strong team, as the Senior Web Developer / Development Team Leader you will take responsibility for co-ordinating activities within the development team, and driving the migration of their Delphi application to a .Net environment.

Your duties will include:

- With company Product & Technical management, driving the development process
- Project managing and providing technical input to the .Net migration project
- Liaising with the Test & QA Manager to schedule fixes / features
- Providing input on technical architecture and coding standards under .Net
- Actively participating in the design and coding of the product

To succeed as the Senior Web Developer / Development Team Leader you will have previous experience of managing a team and the ability to drive, manage and deliver development projects.

You must also have the following:

- hands-on coding experience in C#
- strong .Net skills
- experience in a web application development environment

Any experience in a Delphi environment would be beneficial, as would skills in HTML, CSS and/ or JavaScript.
