Our client is a leading international supplier of clinical information systems for the use within dialysis and transplant environments. Their suite of products keeps care teams integrated and informed by providing instant access to important patient and clinical information. An opportunity has now arisen for a Java Developer / Java Software Developer to join their team.
In this role you will play a key role in the development, delivery and maintenance of our client’s pioneering web based clinical software products for the worldwide clinical software market. For the right person, this role offers ample scope for career progression.
Working in a small team of specialist developers, as a Java Developer / Java Software Developer you will be involved in a number of activities including requirements analysis, design and implementation. Occasional travel to other company offices may be necessary to fulfil the role.
Your duties will include:
- developing an understanding of our client’s existing product set
- meeting the company’s development quality standards
- participating in programming activities
- writing and updating documentation
To succeed as the Java Developer / Java Software Developer you must have proven Java development experience. You should also be highly motivated, very rigorous and a self starter.
You will also need:
- knowledge of multi-threaded software and multi-tiered application development/ deployment
- excellent communication skills and the ability to analyse and communicate technical issues
- a good understanding of object-orientated analysis and design
- excellent problem solving, organisational and time management skills
