A unique opportunity has now arisen for an IT Solutions Director / Global IT Director to join their team.
This is the ideal position for a high calibre candidate with significant experience of managing internal IT programmes within complex global organisations.
In this exciting and high profile new role, you will be responsible for creating and growing a central IT project delivery group to provide consistent business solutions across our client’s global organisation. You’ll ensure that solutions are provided on time, to budget and with the required level of quality. International travel will be required on a quarterly basis.
As the IT Solutions Director / Global IT Director you will be responsible for:
- defining the group’s structure to enable the effective delivery of new business solutions
- managing a team, and leading major projects and programmes for business solutions
- engaging with senior individuals within the business up to board-level
- establishing procedures for the handover of new solutions and the delivery of 3rd level application support
To succeed in this position you will need to demonstrate experience of managing significant internal IT programmes in complex organisations, and experience of introducing and enforcing process rigour within a solutions delivery environment.
As the IT Solutions Director / Global IT Director, you will also need experience in the following:
- overseeing implementation projects and ‘ground up’ development
- building and leading high-performing teams
- a degree (or equivalent) – preferably in mathematics, science or a technology discipline
- taking ownership of the implementation of at least one CRM, ERP/ Finance, eCommerce and/ or Enterprise CMS Solution
