The company have given very strict academic requirements for this software engineer vacancy (don’t shoot the messenger please :-# ). They are looking for recent graduates with a 1st class degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering or Computing from one of the top Uni’s (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Warwick, or Bristol etc) and all A’s at A level. The work will be of a highly technical and mathematical nature (mostly involving logistical problems) and involve R&D of internet based applications, advanced GUI development and design & implementation of computer models. PhD Maths of particular interest. Main languages used are C++, Java and some work with Prolog but all training will be provided. Are you up for the challenge?
