Our National Building services client is looking for a temporary administrator for heir offices based in Stockport. The right candidate must have experience within the HR field and have working knowledge of TUPE and T&C within building services contracts.

·Provide a typing resource within the HR function and to accurately distribute communications in a timely manner.

·Setting up personnel files and maintaining the files in good chronological order.

·Input data and update HR systems, supporting the HR function.

·Prepare induction packs for the new starters.

·To communicate new starter information to appropriate colleagues within the business.

·Monitor and manage sickness absence within the business

·Chase doctors certificates when necessary, sending original to Payroll and retaining copy on file.

·Maintain a register of due dates for three-month reviews, sending out reminders to managers to conduct reviews, flagging up problem areas to the HR Business Partner.

·Preparing Offer letters and Terms and Conditions for successful applicants and monitoring the vetting process, flagging up any problems to the HR Business Partner.

·Ensure the recruitment, selection and induction of employees is undertaken in line with Company Policy and agreed timescales ensuring appropriate policies and terms and conditions are applied.

·Sending out application packs and completing an equal opportunity form for each campaign, producing the results to the HR Business Partner.

·Maintain an up to date database of appraisal due dates, ensuring appraisals are carried out accordingly to deadlines. Chase managers to comply with dates and flag up problems to the HR Business Partner.

·Assist in the preparation, communication and organisation of training courses and to collate materials for courses.

·Maintaining the HR and Training system and databases.


·Sending out application packs and completing an equal opportunity form for each campaign, producing the results to the HR Business Partner.

·Ensuring correct authority is obtained for travel and accommodation requirements.

·Assist staff / management with HR queries, in liaison with other HR staff.

·Support the HR Business Partner with the Redundancy process and TUPE.

·Carry out other general office duties, which are normal custom and practice, eg photocopying, production of spreadsheets, filing, updating manuals.

·Support the Office Manager as and when required and agreed by the HR Business Partner.

·Promoting equal opportunities and diversity at all times.

·To act in a confidential manner at all times.

·Any other ad-hoc duties as required.


Finish Date: End of January
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm 37.50 per week
Pay Rate: £8.00ph
