The challenge
The jobholder will strengthen the foundations upon which our IT systems are built. You will manage and develop our System Center 2012 environment - joining an experienced team in providing support across the product suite. Key challenges will include advising system users, promoting and implementing best practice, and developing bespoke management packs for customers. Looking long term, you’ll also work on projects to improve our service delivery and move us towards a service-based model for infrastructure delivery.
The requirements
With a wealth of systems analysis experience and a keenly customer-focused approach, you will thrive in this role. You will have worked in teams to deliver projects before, and you also have in-depth technical knowledge of most of the following:
- SCOM 2012 configuration, administration, and Advanced Management Pack authoring
- Cross platform (Linux) monitoring
- Automation using Orchestrator
- SCCM 2012 configuration and administration
- Operating System Deployment, using SCCM 2012
- PowerShell scripting
- Windows 2012 Server administration.
