Systems Engineer – Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat), Linux
Systems Administrator, Web Servers, Apache, Tomcat, Linux
Systems Engineer is required by leading online organisation that provides high various profile web services to both FTSE100 clients and millions of UK web users.
This outstanding opportunity will involve working with a team of Systems Engineer who are responsible for the ongoing smooth running of all web servers within a production environment. Your key responsibilities will include (within a Linux transactional environment) administration, configuring, maintaining, installation, tuning of Web Servers (Apache Tomcat) and Enterprise J2EE Servers. You will also bee involved in various other functions including analyzing performance issues (liaisons with Developers & DBA's), configure/ maintain application load balancing, deployment process and more.
Applicants are required to have experience in a similar position with proven skills in Web Servers (Apache / Tomcat), good knowledge of MYSQL and Networking.
