Business Continuity and Planning Manager- Global Operations
My client, a leading energy company are actively looking to recruit a “Global Business Continuity Planning Manager” within their Group Disaster Recovery Programme.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide leadership and subject matter expertise in Business Continuity Management to IT department. You will be accountable for ensuring the process and procedures in use for Business Continuity Planning in IT aligned with the Group Standard. This role will have full ownership for BCP plans; will be responsible for ensuring that the department has appropriate Business Continuity capabilities (people, technology, facilities, and supply chain); will plan and execute testing of IT's BCP capability and ensure that applicable external regulatory requirements are satisfied.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Excellent communication and presentation skills Significant experience of dealing with senior management and technical staff Significant experience of managing third party suppliers providing DR and BCM services Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning tools Experience of applying a wide range of infrastructure technologies to support DR and BCP requirements and solutions Working knowledge of relevant ISO/ BSI standards
