MY NHS CLIENT IN LEEDS IS LOOKING TO RECRUIT AN INFORMATION GOVERNANCE PROJECT ADVISOR TO BEGIN A 6-MONTH CONTRACT ROLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. BASED IN THE CITY CENTRE THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE INVOLVED IN ANTICIPATING AND ADDRESSING ANY INFORMATION GOVERNANCE IMPACTS WITHIN THE GPES PROJECT INCLUDING ELEMENTS SUCH AS INFORMATION SECURITY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF APPROPRIATE PROCEDURES FOR DATA SHARING. CONDUCTING PRIVACY IMPACT ASSESSMENT AND ENSURING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GOVERNANCE POLICIES AND PRACTICES THE POST-HOLDER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING GOVERNANCE POLICIES.

WITH EXPERT, UP TO DATE KNOWLEDGE OF CURRENT LEGISLATION AND BEST PRACTICE IN THE FIELD OF IG THE CLIENT REQUIRES A CANDIDATE WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF DATA SOURCES IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE AND OF INFORMATION PROCESSING AND STANDARDS WITHIN THE NHS. EXPERIENCE OF DELIVERING PROJECTS TO BEST PRACTICE GUIDELINES IS REQUIRED
