We’re ThirtyThree, an independent Employer Branding & Marketing agency with creativity at its core and an impressive number of awards to prove it. We’ve got some lovely, digitally-savvy clients on our books - like The Guardian, WorldPay, Royal Mail, and EE - and we’re looking for a Web Developer to join our growing development team.

Maybe you, like some of our current team, (@determinedmoth, @jackw411) have felt that sense of trepidation when applying for developer roles. You’re always required to be a pro at a seemingly endless list of technologies that, at a push, you may have only touched upon.

We take a different approach at ThirtyThree. All we really need to see is that you "know" the Web and can deliver a fully responsive website from brief to completion - what tools you currently use to get there are academic. If you consider yourself an all-rounder then it’s you we’re looking for.

The only core technology that you'll need under your belt is some decent exposure to PHP and the ability to build beautiful, interactive front-end experiences with JavaScript and HTML/CSS. We'd also need you to have experience of fitting this all together within a CMS - we use Concrete5.

Of course we do use other tools to aid in production - like SASS, Gulp, Git, Laravel, Puppet and Vagrant. And if you haven't used them yet, or are just not confident with them, then rest assured we're still only learning some of those tools ourselves. We don't expect expertise or experience in these other tools (although it is beneficial!). First and foremost we need someone with the willingness to learn them with our support.

Ideally you’ll have worked with creative or advertising agencies. You’ll be opinionated about design and UX, and above all be primarily concerned with building a better product.

If you think this sounds like somewhere you could really shine, please send your CV and covering email telling us why. Please include some URLs to projects you’ve worked on (clearly stating your involvement) or any public code you may have on Github or similar.
