A fantastic opportunity has opened for a working Supervisor in the Newcastle area for a well known and growing maintenance provider at a small pharmaceutical site. This is a new contract won by the company and only requires two persons on site to carry out the reactive and planned maintenance. The successful Supervisor will need to-
- Supervision of day to day staff requirements, maintaining minimal staff operating
levels and have a flexible approach to working hours to meet the business needs.
- Supervise, allocate and maintain day to day records & duties i.e. water samples,
jobs completion.
- Carry out project work such as department improvements, including managing
budgets & contractors to ensure project success
- Supervise compliance for all H & S policies within scope of responsibility.
- To develop all employees, ensuring their motivation and commitment to the
client, contract and company.
- Carry out appraisals on all direct reports.
- To maintain a proactive approach to resolve all day to day problems.
- To manage any critical or major plant failures.
- To supervise fabric maintenance activities
- To have electrical high voltage knowledge.
- Responsible for maintenance monthly spend
- Administer a permit to work system for all staff and all sub contractors.
- To review and fully understand all emergency procedures.
- Maintain all electrical and operational safety inspections
- Arrange/ lead monthly reviews with client to share KPI results
This is a days based position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits so the successful candidate must be fully qualified in an electrical discipline with relevant experience.
