We are now seeking Mechanical Fitters to join the Craft Teams at their Windscale facility. You will be working in a multidisciplined team where your duties will involve performing breakdown and recovery maintenance on equipment and plant, carrying out routine maintenance to a structured system and providing support to the facility in the installation, modification and commissioning of rigs and installed equipment.
As Mechanical Fitter, you will be involved in Flask maintenance and the routine inspection, repair and installation of Manual Slave Manipulators. You will possess demonstrable experience in the maintenance of process plant and equipment and have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and maintenance documentation. Familiarity with steam, water or compressed gases services or knowledge of cranes, slinging operations and workshop machining is ideal.
