NOC Operations Administrator - Windows - Linux - LAMP - Surrey
Due to sustained business growth we have a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Administrator with an in depth experience monitoring Windows & Linux server infrastructure to join a high visibility 24/ 7 team within wireless communications. This is an active, reactive and proactive role; you will be responsible for monitoring & maintaining a high availability network infrastructure to ensure that any issues are responded to within strict SLAs in addition to carrying out maintenance activities to ensure that the infrastructure is running to optimum efficiency at all times.
Job Title: NOS Operations Administrator
Location: Surrey
Salary: up to c£32K + shift allowance + bonus + benefits
The ideal candidate will have a strong background troubleshooting & maintaining Windows, Linux & Unix server and networking technology, and e mail systems within an enterprise environment. Experience of internet & mail technologies including SMTP, POP, IMAP, HTTP & DNS is essential. Experience of the LAMP Toolset (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl) will be a distinct advantage. Good database skills including supporting MySQL, Oracle, Postgres & Sybase servers will support your application in addition to any PHP, Perl or Ruby server scripting experience.
