Linux and Windows Systems Administrator is required for a leading software company in Central London!

Essential skills:

Linux (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS)

Windows Server 2008/2012

Active Directory; Group Policy, etc

MS SQL 2008 installation and database backup/restore

MySQL

Desirable Competencies:

Networking including Firewall knowledge

TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS

Virtualisation experience - VMWare/Hyper V

The company provides a 24x7 environment and you will be supporting it! Your responsibilities will include:

Managing all office hardware, routers, equipment, switches and network;

Troubleshooting and updating computers, phones, laptops, scanners and printers;

Managing and maintenance of all systems;

Support and set up new server systems;

Documenting technical configuration and operating systems;

Performing administration of my client's machines in a large managed hosting environment.

This list is not exhaustive and you will be joining an expanding organisation as a second systems administrator where you will have the opportunity to learn new technologies and grow with the company!
