Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer - Cambridge
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer to join a top class semiconductor company. The role involves the development of major components of software test infrastructure to enable comprehensive testing. Testing will typically encompass regression, sanity, soak, performance, release and certification activities.
Key Skills:
- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in maths/science/software/electronics
- Excellent proven experience of at least one scripting/programming language (Python/Perl/C)
- Excellent proven understanding of software test methodologies
- Proven ability to create and manage the test of complex software
- Excellent understanding of software test debug techniques
Bonus Skills
- Experience of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, UWB or WiFi
- Competent with using laboratory equipment such as scopes, digital multimeters, etc
