Due to recent long-term project wins this stable privately-owned company are looking for an additional software engineer with strong C# skills to code C# Windows-based applications for their highly-regarded product. head up new product development within their small software team. The company design, build and support high integrity PC-based systems, with a worldwide customer base. You will be required to design and code new software systems, including test, acceptance, integration and documentation. You will join a team of leading engineers covering varying engineering disciplines, interfacing directly with management and becoming a key member of the development team, helping guide the technical direction of the business. Required:

•C# development experience
•Windows configuration and installation
•OO design and ideally UML

Desirable:

•Developing interfaces to integrate with Office applications (most beneficial)
•Use of COM/ Interop to interface between components
•UML modelling tools
•Java
•HTML, XML
•Configuration Management, defect tracking or Requirements Management Tools

The successful applicant must be self motivated and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. They will be able to develop software from concept through their full product life cycle and also be willing to maintain existing software and platforms.
