Although the post is advertised as full time, part time applicants would be considered at a minimum of 29.6 hours per week.

Do you have a background in data analysis and a flair for creating visualisations that present complex data in a meaningful way to business users? If so, this role within one of the university’s key strategic projects may be for you.

We are looking for an experienced data analyst to join the Analytics Project team; a new team exploring the use of Learning Analytics within the University. You will be responsible for undertaking new analyses of student performance, activity and feedback data to create the visualisations that will provide the insight our faculty and student support staff requires supporting our students to achieve their study goals.

You will have experience of manipulating and analysing complex qualitative and quantitative data. You will be experienced in Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics or similar visualisation tools; you will use your knowledge to create and maintaining appropriate data visualisations. A team player, you will have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders with differing needs to translate organisational reporting requirements into data set specifications and clear, insightful visualisations.
