Our client is seeking two ‘hybrid’ Web Developers with both front and backend skills to join their Professional Services team based near the historic town of Ludlow in Shropshire. The new team members will work from a recently remodelled manor house office. There's also the option of remote working if you live miles away.

Who are they? A well established, medium sized web company who craft and refine their own enterprise CMS as well as offering Professional Services to existing and new clients. Primarily working in .NET, they are open to other languages and can provide training to those who require it.

As a Web Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to work up close and personal with some prestigious clients from sectors including the NHS, police, local government and several leading universities.

A dedicated and down-to-earth individual is required to develop, design and maintain a multitude of websites and applications along with integration to other applications including APIs.

To be considered, you must have:

- At least five years’ web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), MVC, VB.NET and/or C#.NET and/or PHP

- Proficiency in creating database-driven web applications with SQL Server

- An understanding of relational database concepts

- The ability to prototype and implement advanced HTML(ideally 5) and CSS (ideally 3) (Media Queries, SASS, Responsive)

The ideal Web Developer will have experience of Microsoft MVC Razor framework, however this is by no means essential.

The successful candidate must:

- Be able to work independently and as part of a team

- Demonstrate initiative

- Be creative and able to think outside the box

- Be customer-service oriented

- Possess good communication and presentation skills

- Be willing to travel to client locations to attend off-site meetings and events
