Support migration of all UK Projects onto PDM, ensuring the support infrastructure (process sets users guides etc.) are in place to minimise the impact of the migration. They shall collate migration plans that will be accepted and authorised by the project(s) the collated plan will detail resource requirements and resource clashes, capital expenditure and training requirements to cover all aspects of the migration. They shall assist with the implementation and maintenance of the plans, liaising with the Project staff the CM function and the UK PDM Team to ensure licence allocation, training needs and PDM updates are taken into account and delivered.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Interface with Project Heads and Configuration Managers to ensure the migration strategy is clearly understood and adapted by the wider Project Team and is being effectively implemented.
Ensure Project Specific Processes are reviewed and to ensure they are updated to reflect the tool capabilities and resolve issues as they arise.
Accountable to the Group Leader, Configuration Management for matters arising as each Project migrates into PDM, ensuring the project diligently migrated with minimum impact.
Ensure all Project training requirements are clearly understood and delivered to meet the Project needs, in liaison with the UK PDM Project Manager.
Problem Solving Challenges
Resolve the issues of trying to implement a new IT Tool/ Process into a maturing project with limited resources.
Ensure the training programme rationalises both project needs and functional capabilities.
Manage the limited project resources available to deliver a controlled migration with minimal impact to the Project.

Proven ability to manage and deliver a Project
Proven ability to interface and influence partners and customers.
Ability to think outside the normal constraints of established processes and procedures.
Good Communication Skills – Verbal, Written, Electronic, across all levels.
Understanding of cultural and political issues and being able to adapt strategies accordingly.
Ability to plan and deliver own workload providing support at any level to ensure deadlines are achieved.
An understanding of CM IT Tools.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a Security Vetting Process.
