We are very demanding on ourselves to deliver the best quality services to our customers. One of our clients requires an experienced data engineer.

Responsibilities:

- Work with all levels of organisation including stakeholders architects, developers and test teams pulling information together

- Transfer user specifications into database application logic

- Support delivery of BI and reporting solutions

- Business Intelligence Testing

- Create test plans, cases and scripts

- Maintain reports and dashboards improving them where possible

- Prepare Ad hoc reports and queries

- Source data analysis, staging and data structure design

- Design / maintain data dictionary

- Prepare estimates for new projects

Required skills:

- Experience in MDX and SQL, complex query reporting

- BI experience with open source tools - Pentaho desirable

- ETL development tools

- Experience with XML, RDBMS, flat file data sources

- Data modeling
