Graduate ASIC Design Engineer - ASIC, Wireless Communications

Two exceptional opportunities exist for Graduate ASIC Designers with our client, a global semiconductor leader, in the field of Wireless Communications.

These positions offer the opportunity to work on cutting-edge low power cellular products, such as high speed internet capabilities for mobile phones. Working as part of an expert design team, you will be responsible for capturing system requirements, drawing up specifications, block level architecture, RTL coding (VHDL), verification and synthesis for custom ASICs.

The ideal candidates will be recently qualified (or soon to graduate) with a Masters in Electronic Engineering or similar field, with a focus on Digital IC Design. An excellent understanding of ASIC design concepts is required, with some hands-on experience using VHDL/Verilog. Successful candidates will be motivated, switched-on, quick to learn, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A final year project relating to wireless applications is preferred.
