Central European Field Application Engineer - Munich or Frankfurt
My client is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality application specific standard products within the broad discrete, logic, analog and power semiconductor markets. To strengthen their team in Germany they are looking for an experienced Field Application Engineer for Central Europe
Job Description
As Field Application Engineer you will be based in Munich area supporting customers in Germany and Central Europe. You will have the primary responsibility to provide customers and sales channels with technical solutions from the expanding product range into their applications.
Main Assignments
? Proactive customer support
? Post sales support
? Development of close technical relationships at the company's key customers
? Monitoring, qualification and selected follow up for closure of design registrations submitted by the company's distribution network
? Preparation of technical product presentations, application notes, technical articles etc.
Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree (Fachhochschule [FH] or
? Berufsakademie [BA]) or Master's Degree (Technische Hochschule [TU/TH]) in electrical engineering (Elektrotechnik) or International equivalent
? Proven background in either Field/Internal Applications or an R&D background in hardware design
? In-depth knowledge of analog, IC, discrete components and power applications
? Good German language skills are key (verbal and written) - a good working ability of English is an advantage
? Ability to travel frequently to customers and distributors in the region and attend regular review meetings in the UK and/or Germany
