3rd Line Support Engineer (Microsoft) - c£40,000/Annum

UK's Largest IT Support Microsoft Gold Partner based in Scotland seeking a talented rounded, well-seasoned 3rd line support engineer who is keen to apply their technical knowledge and hands on technological exposure and be the 'go to' person for all virtualisation, network and Exchange related escalations and user support queries for the region's largest Microsoft implementations and migrations. The organisation covers the full Microsoft stack including BI, SharePoint, CRM, ERP and Infrastructure/Telecoms solutions UK wide and will provide and fund certifications aside allowing access to the latest technologies and versions.

The position offers the opportunity for a highly motivated, conscientious and well-seasoned senior technical support candidate (3+years' experience) with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information.

About You

Key Skills & Requirements include:

?Virtualisation Support: Citrix (XenApp6.5), VMware (vSphere 5.x) Hyper V2008/12R2

?Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012 R2

?Working knowledge of core Microsoft domain infrastructure and technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, WDS)

?LAN / WAN / SAN technologies - Networking TCP/IP, VPN's and VLAN (Config and Troubleshooting) Firewalls, routers/switches.

?Microsoft Exchange 2007 to 2013 (Firewalls, routers/switches)

?Excellent customer facing skills

Desirable

1.MCITP or MCSE Qualification.

Salary & Benefits

£40,000/Annum + Bonus
