Corporate Pensions Technical Manager

Location:              London

Duration:              6 months

Corporate Pensions technical knowledgeRegulatory/Legislation and Trustee experience. Significant experience of understand regulatory and tax changes and assessing their impact on productsAble to identify areas of Regulatory uncertaintyAble to prioritise risks identifiedDetailed knowledge of technical product and service related risks linked to regulatory changeLife and Pensions background. Expert level knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitorsExperience of working with outsourced providers and a broad range of senior stakeholders - both internally and externallyExperience of shaping the design of technical training to be delivered in distribution channelsExperience of developing technical and product documents, tools and support materialsRelevant professional qualification (e.g. fully qualified ADRP or equivalent CII status)  
Purpose of the role

Provide direction, insight and guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure business integrity and compliance with legislation, regulation and industry best practice

Support the Distribution channel on retention strategy and attend client meetings or support client managers as required where more detailed technical input is required

Analyse changes in legislation and regulation to understand and identify any gaps in products / services, drive actions required to address any issues and ensure compliance

To provide product, regulatory, legislative, tax and trust support to the business and internal stakeholders (e.g. PR, Operations etc) as required

Engage with industry bodies (ABI, SPC), Government and regulators in order to influence outcomes in line with house view or as an industry expert

To help ensure Corporate Pensions technical documentation / information is fit for purpose and compliant

To support the training, coaching and development of distribution teams on the deep technical matters relating to Corporate Pensions
