Senior C++ Risk Developer- Completely Greenfield - (Fast track process - job offer in one day)

My client is the world's leading financial software data and information provider with headquarters in New York and offices in nearly 200 countries. The company is seeking an exceptional and free thinking Senior C++ software developer for a role developing a high performance proprietary risk calculation system - adding new functionality and facilitating multi-system integration and scalability. The critical nature of this task requires engineers with experience in, and the desire to work with, high-performance systems with high throughput and 24/7 availability.

Requirements

*Extensive experience in C++ programming

*Experience working with large distributed systems

*A firm understanding of any area of risk is highly preferred

*A strong understanding of data structures and algorithms

*Comfortable operating on Linux/Unix platforms

*Experience of the full software development life-cycle

*Excellent communication skills and willingness to engage with the business
