Are you a driven, operationally minded IT professional? Do you have experience of building strong relationships, influencing technical and clinical stakeholders and helping to shape and deliver solutions to meet the needs of a programme?

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Stratified Medicine team and…

-Partner with external NHS sites and internal colleagues to understand their informatics and data needs, critically evaluate the functionality of our complete informatics solution and systems and ensure it meets the project requirements.

-Provide expertise in achieving business benefits through process improvement and develop practical ideas and solutions to support the project

-Own the CRUK Stratified Medicine dataset (clinical and messaging) and ensure the data is collected and stored in line with NHS regulatory standards.

-Maintain awareness of current and emerging technology and software

This is an extremely exciting time for the Stratified Medicine programme, as we are currently implementing a pre-screening programme across our network of 18 nationwide Experimental Cancer Medical Centres (ECMC's), which will allow patients to be recruited onto the National Lung Matrix Trial, due to be open later this year.

To take on this exciting new challenge and the opportunity to make a real impact, you'll have….

-Experience communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels within organisations and a variety of requirements elicitation techniques

-Evidence of problem solving and providing creative solutions

-Experience of initiating and managing change

-Broad current knowledge of IT standards, applications and trends

-Operational understanding of healthcare environment (DH, CSU, CCGs, Trusts, Research Funders) a benefit
