A leading software consultancy based in Aldershot is currently recruiting for a development / technical project manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work on large development projects both internally and externally.
On a day to day basis, the development / technical project manager will focus on bespoke developments of Java based products alongside continuous improvement of customer products.
As a development / technical project manager, you will have strong skills in the following:
*Technical project delivery - candidates must have managing at least one client application development project
*Exposure on Java development projects
*Knowledge of structured development (Waterfall), including governance and change control
*Continuous improvement
*People management - you will ideally have managed both small and large software development teams
*Stakeholder management
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, including liaison with both technical and non technical staff
Any experience in a client facing capacity and experience within financial services or other similar industries would be highly advantageous.
