Pre Sales Consultant (BIG DATA), UK, £70,000 - £80,000 + 20K Bonus

An experienced Pre Sales consultants with a proven track record working closely with field-based sales teams is needed to join a leading edge & growing Big Data solutions provider who already enjoy a global presence.

My client work with the latest Big Data / Analytics technologies and need a confident, technical strong and innovative Pre Sales Consultant to join their team.

Experience needed:

* 5+ years in pre-sales or similar customer facing role with fortune 500 type accounts.

* High level working knowledge on Linux.

* 2+ years of hands-on experience with architecting/developing on Hadoop based distributed systems (e.g. MapReduce, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Flume).

* Expert level experience architecting, building, maintaining, and performance tuning Enterprise grade Hadoop cluste.

* Experienced programming in Java and expert level programming Map Reduc.

* Experience with components in Hadoop eco system (Hive, Pig, Impala, Ambari, Oozie, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Mahout.

* Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services EC2, Elastic MapReduce).
