Our client is seeking for a Service Introduction Project Manager based in Newcastle.
Day to Day Responsibilities
1 Service Introduction PM - responsible for planning and managing the end to end service management and reports to the Project Manager and SI lead.
2 Existing Service Transition functions will continue to operate as currently and will engage with the SIPM.
3 Engage with Service Design and the assigned Service Architect's in CTO will be necessary
4 Use governance determined for service introduction on all projects
5 Provide dashboard status reporting on Service Introduction for assigned projects that are in flight.
6 Build project plan and delivery schedule
7 Delivery to project plans and financial commitments, including costs against budget, billing schedules and staffing requirements.
8 Ensuring adherence to the processes and practices used across Atlas
9 Resolve issues, manage risks, assumptions and dependencies, escalating to the SI Lead where appropriate. Ensure that the tracking tool, ARM, is updated on a monthly basis.
10 Ensuring that exception reporting, failure reporting and other governance is carried out in support of project reporting.
11 Identify and remove inhibitors (both technical and process) that will prevent or delay the projects successful and timely delivery
Essential Skills
1 Service Management skills particularly service design, service transition and service operations
2 Project Management skills
3 End-to-End project accountability for delivery against Schedule and Cost objectives across matrix structured delivery organisations
4 Excellent communication skills
5 MS Project competency
6 Ability to understand and work in a large complex operating environment
7 Understanding of large Government Accounts
SC Clearance is required for this role, however candidates willing to run through the checks may also be considered.
