Lead Information Security Engineer - Banking

Circa £65,000 + £4,590 car + bonus + pension + healthcare + company benefits

I have an opportunity working for a leading global bank. My client is currently looking for a Lead Information Security Engineer to provide subject matter expertise to support, review and certify the new, current and proposed technologies, designs, systems or services from an IT Security perspective and provide documented recommended controls and solutions.

Essential skills and experience include:

*Previous hands on experience working as a Lead Information Security Engineer

*Strong practical & theoretical understanding of security strategies and technologies including secure global network design, remote computing, desktop and server hardening, Compliance Auditing, Secure Software Development, Software Auditing, Penetration Testing and Security Monitoring.

*Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards such as ISO17799/27001 and their implementation.

*Strong understanding of the security mechanisms associated with Windows or UNIX operating systems, mobile platforms, switched networks, applications and databases.

*Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.

*Experience in creating innovative solutions and responding to information security incidents a strong plus.
