Financial Software Analyst Developer C# Java

Working as part of a global financial services firm, and with heavy IT investment, candidates will be required to work as part of an analytical, cross-platform team.

The systems are very complex, so candidates will need to exhibit outstanding system analysis skills and a broad technical skill-set covering not only OOP, but the .NET framework (ideally version 4.5), C#, Visual Studio, WCF/MVC, front-end tools (JavaScript , JQuery, XHtml, CSS), design patterns and good working database knowledge with SQL.

Any agile or TDD experience, or knowledge of other languages such as Java would be extremely beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

*Assists with business requirements, supports business and systems analysts and developers

*Recommends and integrates third-party software/components to meet business requirements

*Develops solutions from technical specifications

*Supports other developers in the creation of specified solutions

*Supports analysts and users performing System and User Acceptance Testing

*Develops deployment plans

*Interact with designers to understand software limitations

*Assists with design considerations, resource and process impact, and implementation timelines

*Proactively identifies and communicates issues and risks related to the project

*Liaises with the Project Sponsor, Project Manager, IT Lead and Test Lead to schedule projects

*Provides regular, thorough, quality status reporting on projects
